If you wish, use the blog to introduce yourself before the carnival by adding a comment to the post 'INTRODUCTIONS'.
Or, if you are arriving in York early, arrange to meet up with others – Yorkhas many wonderful cafes and pubs. And if you are from York, perhaps you can advise visitors as to the best places to eat, drink and visit. Use the post 'VISITING'.
To offer or request links or to share accommodation, leave a comment in the 'SHARING' section.
Be safe - meet people in public places, and check out any sharing buddies beforehand.

Sharing

Am looking for accommodation in York for the festival. Does anyone have a sofa I could stay on? Or know of any people that would be happy to host? I would be grateful.
I think this carnival is going to be brilliant : )
I can offer floor space in my graduate college dorm room. It will be a bit cramped but I have a roll out futon, an extra pillow and a light sleeping bag to offer. So if you're desperate and don't mind sharing a small room with an MA student from the Centre for Women's Studies contact me.

Hi,
